CENTRELINK - the Evil Empire

My name is Phil MULLARD and I have been in a battle with Centrelink for more than three years over late payments and a disputed non-payment of my "Newstart" entitlement. I have even had to battle over recognition of my plight (I'm a bankrupt) which is on the Public Record!

Eventually I had my House of Representatives member of parliament intercede on my behalf with regard to the disputed non-payment and the Record of Payments, from Centrelink to myself, was produced! If Centrelink has done everything by-the-book why were they so reluctant to produce this record?

It appears a letter to Amanda Vanstone mailed 12/5 and backup copy mailed 26/6 were both lost in the mail, misplaced or ignored. Amanda Vanstone has since moved from the portfolio.

If your office is unable to address this issue, please, forward to the proper authority.

I am certain I am in possession of a tale of lies, deceit and hypocrisy involving Centrelink which must be made known to the public of Australia.

The lies, deceit and hypocrisy commenced when I wrote a letter of complaint about a Centrelink
employee 29 December 2000 and has continued ever since without resolution.

At my latest Centrelink appointment 31/3/04 with a psychologist I was informed senior management have instucted email addresses for management, personal advisers and psychologist
are not to be passed on to me.

The government offices of John Howard, Tony Abbott, John Anderson and John Boundy have all been provided with compelling hard copy evidence of impropriety to little effect.

Opposition offices of Simon Crean, Wayne Swan, John Faulkner and recently Mark Latham and Jenny Macklin have not addressed my claims and allegations to date.

Does the Centrelink juggernaut answer to any person or department?

In an open and transparent democracy like Australia it is frustrating to discover that the Centrelink entity is a better kept secret than the recent allegations of children overboard and intelligence reports of WMD in Iraq.

I resented being treated like a fool by Xxxx XXXXXX, long before your Trevor Jones treated me like a moron and Noreen Hay treated me like a complete idiot. It is unfortunate that the three individuals mentioned all departed federal politics prior to introducing Centrelink reform.

It is suspected that this email will allow closure of communication with your office.

Still no reply from the office of Mr. Wayne Swan MP regarding my Centrelink complaint.

Numerous emails to Mr. Swans Office - firstly George then Michael Lye from pre xmas 2002 have all
been ignored. Robert Faulkner, Simon Crean, Jenny Macklin also made representations to Mr Swan's
office without success.

Dear Mr. Dixon,

Heeded your advice and mailed conclusive evidence of impropriety involving Centrelink 25/3 to
the Minister Mr. Larry Anthony MP Attn. M/s Ruth Gibson.

It would be most unfortunate if this latest Australia Post article is " lost in the mail " as it appears
an earlier hand written letter to the Hon. Amanda Vanstone MP was lost . A backup copy also appears to have " gone astray ".

Advise if you have any suggestion or opinion on these latest claims and allegations.

Disappointed and humiliated identical emails forwarded to all three male committee members 15/3 appear to have been deleted, ignored or not comprehended.

Only a united effort can bring about reform vital for the development of this great nation.

Regular and repeated requests for a meeting with Jennie George MP my local Federal Member have
been ignored since 10 September 2002.

Please investigate why Jennie George's staff are entitled to dismiss complaints from constituents.

Advise if a meeting with your staff in Canberra is possible to discuss this ongoing debacle.

Unfortunate, if the Centrelink entity is sacrificed to save the careers of a group of senior politicians and bureaucrats.

Canberra Connection,

Insulted and humiliated to finally receive a demeaning and condescending letter from my Federal Member of Parliament, Member for Throsby, M/s Jennie George MP dated 14 April 2004.

Correspondence commenced with M/s George 20 October 2001 regarding major problems being encountered with decisions and processes being undertaken by management and staff at Centrelink
Shellharbour Square branch.

Three letters from Centrelink this year (2004) have made a mockery of all earlier attempts to have these issues resolved with Centrelink assistance.

Dear M/s George MP,

Thank you for your inaccurate and inappropriate letter of 14 April 2004.

My Centrelink complaint appears to have been rectified by a Centrelink decision to place myself on a Disability Support Pension as opposed to Newstart Allowance.

The last three letters from Centrelink and two meetings with a Personal Adviser 2/2/04 and psychologist 31/3/04 appear to have influenced Centrelink's decision on this issue.

Time is always available to discuss this debacle with members of staff of the government and/or the opposition.
