The joke is that Rene RIVKIN's "slap on the back of the wrists", 9 months of weekend detention, seems quite severe when compared to really large corporations which have committed "intransigencies"!  All that needs to happen now is for "The DON" ARGUS to release a tome on "good" corporate governance!

BHP Billiton Ltd are skimming the profits to the tune of at least $1 billion/annum.  Before the dual-listed merger with Billiton plc "The Broken Hill Proprietary Company Ltd" were reporting annual profits in the late 90s of between $1.5 billion and $2 billion.  The invention makes an estimated pre-tax profit of between $2 billion/year and $3 billion/year and after tax this rounds down to a range just less than $1.5 billion/year to just under $2 billion/year so what does the rest of BHP do?  The now defunct accounting firm Andersen, of ENRON unfamy, used to be BHP's accountants and I'm sure most people will understand that "creative accounting" did, and still does, play a big part in the financial reporting!

Why QUESTIONS A, B & C were proposed is that the day the BHP share-price began it's collapse, into an almost two year trough, was the day AFTER (also see the finer graph - OR you can scroll a little up the page to view this finer graph and the Affidavit) the executors of my wife's will signed an AFFIDAVIT ( 2nd of July in 1997 ) which was necessary to apply for Probate on her estate - and this estate could have been used to transfer the rights to the extremely profitable FACE EMPLACED Services Support invention!  (BHP got their signatures on this document first and then they notified the media to drive the share-price down with misleading reports about BHP's plight!)
