What you are witnessing now is the undermining of democracy in Australia - by both state and federal governments!  Sure everybody still gets a vote but the voting is no obstacle to wily politicians whom are given their Agenda by the "big business" part of the CBD set.

 

Other countries have the same problem with this "recall vote" to take place in California.  "Arnie - the Terminator" is only a serious (just kidding) candidate because of his movie fame and the same happens here in Australia with ex-sportspeople, ex-rock stars and other high-profile people (Kerryn PHELPS) attempting to throw their hat into the ring.  In every case I would expect that there will be as few policies as possible put forth before the election and this will reduce the chances of any of them making a blunder on-the-run!  Policy vacuums would be an apt manner of describing these campaigns!

 

 

In all cases the secret 'agenda' is kept under wraps (the invasion of Afghanistan and Gulf War II) and a populist campaign is run.  After the election this concealed "script" is then read from and the moves to deprive most citizens of their rights are commenced!  .Any pollie willing to stick to the script* is given television time, column inches and photo opportunities to advance this secret agenda.

  *  and believe me script is the right word - as "big Arnie" will display

All of this is occurring under the guise of a "democratically elected government" - and this is one of the terms, as well as "free and fair press", repeated in the media!  Another stunt is quoting these "opinion polls" - check with the people you know and appreciate the contrasting result you obtain!

To give you some idea just how "democratic" Australia is at the moment in other countries campaigns are underway to expose these "elected" leaders.  Earlier this year the BBC ran a poll recording the number of votes people most wanted kicked out of the United Kingdom.  ToeKnee BLAIR was winning by streets until he was removed from the count!  This still did not stop another member of the BLAIR family winning the poll.  His wife won and some would argue that people voted for her as a way of registering their vote against ToeKnee!  The German Chancellor has a "last shirt off my back campaign" running against him according to the Sydney Morning Herald.  Late last year about 33,000 people had posted him their old worn shirts as a protest against the high taxes they are paying in Germany at the moment!  "All's quite in the southern (Australian) front - though!"

"What makes these rulers so unpopular?" . THEY GOVERN IN A MANNER WHICH SUITS THE ELITES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES! .

 

We have been on a voyage of discovery in Australia for some time.  This voyage commenced about 20 years ago with the election of Bob HAWKE as Prime Minister.  I remember my father saying,

"They (the federal government) are just concerned with 'big business'!"

The voyage so far has been reasonably pleasant with few hiccups on the way (the Wharfies Strike).  The collapse of unions, due in part to their corruption, has meant that manual workers have been deprived of their protection.  Lets just say that the rations on this voyage have been reduced a little.  There would be some who are still well off at present and are unaffected by the economic manipulations occurring and would be likely be unconcerned!  All I'll say to them is that they're next!  (The government got rid of the middle class in Singapore!)

The problem for our pollies is that the script is being made more severe on a compressed time scale.  "Democracy" will not take our political leaders where they want to go so the rise of facism, where the country becomes slave to the corporations, is on the rise!  The end of this voyage is not port (if we survive the reduced rations) but a shipwreck some miles out to sea.  Facists get more from the country's ruin as there are a lot of bargains available!

So this up-till-now reasonably pleasant voyage is about to meet with disaster and I think that you should take an intense interest in the successive pages of this web-site!
