SUPERANNUATION - what a rort!

Yank lurks

In Australia if the institution (superannuation fund) has trustee status then there is no need for this institution to report to the members/contributors!  All that need occur is that the payout be made available when due.  STATE SUPER, the NSW superannuation fund for government employees, will provide some information if the payout exceeds half a million dollars.  This information, however, may be extremely limited as the Statute of Limitations severely restricts the requirement for records to be maintained - and in most cases the limitation of five years would be applicable!

If you have any doubts that the "super" industry is a scam from one end to the other read the following article - . Sydney Morning Herald, 5th & 6th of April in 2003 on page 79 .

Other countries have longer Statue of Limitations but in Australia the government's only here to assist major criminals!

more on superannuation - and even more on 'super'

. Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme . -  $160 million attempted fraud

I find it difficult to convey the level of corruption I think exists in so-called 'democracies'.  Basically the old saying, "We're treated like mushrooms - kept in the dark and fed on bullshit", applies to almost all citizens!

I'm sure that once you start asking questions about BHP Billiton and other high-profile corporations you'll come to understand that even though we still vote (albeit corruptly in the US) every western nation isn't an informed democracy!
